Tomar orupo murti khani 

Falguner o aalo te boshai aani, 

BaNshori bajayi lolito boshonte sudhur o digonte 

Sonar abhaye kaNpe tobo uttori,, 

Gaaner o praaner o shey unmaadone.

আমি তোমার সঙ্গে বেঁধেছি আমার প্রাণ সুরের বাঁধনে-- 

তুমি জান না, আমি তোমারে পেয়েছি অজানা সাধনে॥ 

সে সাধনায় মিশিয়া যায় বকুলগন্ধ,... 

সে সাধনায় মিলিয়া যায় কবির ছন্দ-- 

তুমি জান না, ঢেকে রেখেছি তোমার নাম 

রঙিন ছায়ার আচ্ছাদনে॥ 

তোমার অরূপ মূর্তিখানি 

ফাল্গুনের আলোতে বসাই আনি। 

বাঁশরি বাজাই ললিত-বসন্তে, সুদূর দিগন্তে 

সোনার আভায় কাঁপে তব উত্তরী

With shades of colorful decoration. 

Your grand image 

In glowing springs I inaugurate 

By playing flute in the colorful season and in the far horizon 

In golden aura flitters your stole 

In songs and among tunes in intoxication.

With the Sun & the stars the sky is sate, 

The earth too is virile, 

Amidst them I obtain, 

I embed my seat. 

So wondrously I evoke, 

I evoke my zephyr. 

Timelessly it wafts, 

As tides & ebbs the Universe waves, 

In nerved & in blood streams 

I felt its drag; 

So wondrously I evoke, 

I evoke my zephyr. 

On the way to woods, I tread on the grass; 

Surprised by the fragrance of flowers, 

Infused is the nous, 

Spreading a happy euphony; 

lent my ears, opened my eyes, 

on the bosom of the earth, I poured my psyche, 

from unknown among the known, I probe; 

So wondrously I evoke, 

I evoke my zephyr.
